Reviews
I found this place via google map on our way to Glacier National Park when we travelled on Route 90, and estimated we would need a safe place to park and rest for the night. It was an easy process to book one out of the two available tent site.
We were very pleased to find the amenities this resort offers, especially the laundry and the shower rooms.
The toilet and the shower rooms were every clean. Actually, these are the cleanest bathrooms I have ever had in my many years camping experience. We were so satisfied with the amenities in Granite Peak RV Resort, so I reserved the same camp site for the night we left Glacier National Park in one week later.
This was one of the better RV resorts we've stayed at while RV'ing. We understand you are updating the park and we appreciate that. The facilities (esp the bathrooms) were very clean. Pool could be a bit cleaner. Loved the location; didn't expect it to be so close to the freeway, but there wasn't any appreciable noise, and it made for convenient travels. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Found all the guests we met to be very friendly and hospitable. Our RV location was ideal as everything we needed was within just a few hundred feet. Keep doing what you are doing, we'd feel very comfortable coming back here.
Stopped here for a night on our way to Yellowstone. It was a nice RV park. It was clean, the pool was in great shape, and the kids loved the playground. It’s also nice that all of the main paths are paved so there was no dust. They have a path to the river but we didn’t have time to go, so I wish we could’ve checked that out. We would definitely come back again. It was a real nice park. My only complaint was that there were no fire rings at the temp spots.
We needed a spot for an overnight stay on our way to our vacation. This park is perfect for that. Our site was a pull through, economy site. It was big enough that we could keep our 27ft trailer attached to the truck, and while it wasn't perfectly level it was good enough for the night.
The campground is lovely, clean and quiet! It's easily accessible, just a short distance from I90. The bathrooms were very clean and waking up next to a big hayfield made my country heart happy. I felt perfectly safe walking by myself at night to the restrooms, which were well lit and clean. I would definitely stay here again, the sites that are "fancier" looked like they would be worth the money, but if you just need a spot for overnight, just passing through, their economy sites are perfect.
We had a change of plans on our vacation and needed a place to stay for a night. They were able to accommodate us on short notice on a weekend. We had a pull through site that was large enough for our 35’ fifth wheel. We had a little trouble pulling in due to the wood framing the spot, but after a couple of tries, we made it just fine.
The campground has easy on/off access to the highway, which was nice. And even though it is close to the highway, it was quiet.
We enjoyed the hiking trails that they have groomed around the park. It was hot, so we didn’t stay out too long, but I’m sure if the weather had been cooler, we would have enjoyed it more.
All in all, we were impressed with Granite Peak and would definitely stay again.
We’ve stayed over a dozen times at Granite Peak. Every time is great! The property is well maintained, bathrooms are awesome and the pool during the summer months is what sets this park aside from the others. Our favorite part is the affordable rates! Last time we stayed we were having issues with our power. Brody was kind enough to help us out so we could get AC on for our older dogs (it was 100 degrees outside).
Granite Peak is the best RV park in the Missoula area by far!
Looks like they have made some improvements recently.
Office, laundry, rest rooms, workout and kids games all new and very nice.
Staff was super helpful as we were waiting around while our RV was getting repaired.
Paved, wide streets. Most gravel spots some paved with artificial turf.
I would definitely stay again. Can’t wait to see how it looks next year.
We booked last minute this summer and this was the only campground in Missoula who figured out how to get us in. We then extended our stay and they worked really hard to keep us in our requested site so we didn't have to move.
The heated pool was wonderful.
The shower house was so clean and well stocked.
The laundry was great- $5 for wash and free dryers.
The store had fun and helpful items at reasonable prices.
We loved the hiking trails through the farmlands.
The views are beautiful!!
Close to Missoula and easy to get to Glacier.
